Why should I allow that same God to tell me how to raise my kids, who had to drown His own?"
This is the god they believe in. A monster that throws a temper tantrum and kills everything on the planet (xenocide). Of course, the flood is just a myth, but Christians believe it's real and still praise their god. That is quite telling.
Agreed. How can you love a god that encourages people to fear him by commanding the genocide of non-believers and condemning "sinners" and innocent people alike to hell? Christians need to stop ignoring all the awful things god does in the bible to glorify himself.
It's like what Hannibal Lecter said "Why be ashamed of killing people when God does it everyday?"
Remember, God also died for you-no matter who you are. As Ron Burgundy would say, 'that's a pretty big deal.'
It's like what Hannibal Lecter said "Why be ashamed of killing people when God does it everyday?"
i think the word you're looking for is 'pathetic'.
nice piece, btw.
Christianity is actually quite bone-chilling to me. I'm frightened of them. .__.
Just remember that most of the organizations that do charity are Christian...
