"The guy with the suicide vest on isn't thinking about politics, he's thinking about paradise"

I think that this is an important distinction to make. Many people claim that terrorism relates more to politics than it does religion. However, the individual going on the suicide attack doesn't give a shit about political factions or debates, he's blowing himself up in a crowded place to ensure he's going to heaven. Without religion to grease the political wheels there would be no jihad.

Make no mistake about the importance of religion in terrorism, whether it's plane hijacking or abortion clinic bombing.

And the image is pixelated on purpose.

I find it odd that people use the logic, "abortion is wrong because they're killing babies" yet they want to kill people who actually know what life is like.

Seriously, taking something away from someone is worse than preventing someone from having it because the person who didn't have it can't complain; they don't know what it's like to have it, so they won't be hurt by it.

That's EXACTLY the point I always try to make. But nooo, the 99% christian population of my town doesn't wanna hear it when they bring it up. Bleh.

I hate living in the South, but what can you do? Not much of a choice when you're a teenager, eh?

You can't really pick where you were born. Also, you cannot pick your parents.

Or your neighbors.
And teachers.

WE CHOOSE NOTHING

Sorry for that.

Ngeh.
That's true.
Honestly, I actually have my own beliefs. I'm a buddhist.
But the fact that we have radicals fucking BLOWS MY MIND.
Radical Buddhists?!

You might want to adjust the image resolution vs. the text resolution--at full size, the text reads perfectly well, but the image is just a jumble of pixels.

Every morning I wake up thinking the world is my oyster, and every night I go to bed, remembering that I hate shellfish. I pray I don't die in the night.
